Desi Writers’ Lounge (DWL) is the brainchild of Afia Aslam, Tazeen Anjum, Osman Khalid Butt, Jalal Curmally, Bilal Iqbal, Nadir Feroz Khan, Muhammad Imran Khan, Maryam Piracha, Ayesha Sajid, Sana Sabir, Usman Tanveer and Shehla Wynne: twelve creative individuals who serendipitously met through a writers’ community on Google’s online social network Orkut. DWL is grateful to former website administrator and Editor Maryam Piracha, former Prose Editor Jalal Habib Curmally and former Associate Editor Ayesha Sajid for their support over the years.
