Rahedeen AliFormer Papercuts Prose Editor
Rahedeen S. Ali is the teacher of teachers. When she isn’t educating O-level students, she’s instructing others how to. Being a teacher of the English Language, school is where she’s able to apply her hard-earned skills of a grammar Nazi. So you might want to think twice about the placement of your commas when you’re dealing with her. In addition to being a teacher, she’s on the administration of a school where she academically fights the system – from within – on a daily basis. She has a knack for defying the established order. You might not find her on the streets during riots or protests, but don’t be mistaken. She rebels through her unconventional teaching methods. By refusing to conform to the generic school curriculum, and enforcing critical thinking instead. But every now and then you might find her lying in the fetal position amongst scattered assignments, tearing her hair out. In her free time she often writes fictional short stories. Many of which have a hard-to-follow narrative. Rahedeen is currently working on an anthology of her own short stories. |
