Your razorblade tongue frays the corners of my throat,
Spilling the heroin of your leftover words in my mouth.
My breath scorches through your lungs like a stale cigarette
Savage and tart to the flame
Before dissolving in the blood you cough up; a bitter
aftertaste.

You slowly melt into my skin, like coffee with artificial sweetener,
Until your heart burns a hole in my chest.
Your bittersweet saliva chokes my veins
So my tears attempt to bleed you
out.
