I found this list very interesting, especially American Housewife by Helen Ellis, a collection of funny and snarky short stories about womanhood. Feminist texts from a profane Southern writer? Sign me up.

2. She is the one who knocks…or rather is glad she lives in a world where there are Octobers. Moira Walley-Beckett, star writer on the greatest show of all time, Breaking Bad is adapting Anne of Green Gables for television. I mean Anne and Diana are practically like Walter and Jesse in how dedicated Diana is to Anne and has zero imagination while Anne always has a scheme ready.
