1. Helen Oyeyemi’s latest book is out! It is called What is Not Yours Is Not Yours which is a very apt title for when you do not want to lend this amazing collection of short stories to anyone. Basically, I want to use this news to direct you to Riverhead Books’ Instagram which you really should check out for some amazing book inspo.

2. So a bout of sadness of the time wasted not reading brought me to Paste Magazine’s 30 Books to Read Before You Are 30. At first I thought “Oh great, another list filled with white men,” but no it has some amazing books like A Visit From the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan and Americanah by Chimimandah Adichie.

3. Women’s Day was this past week and if you are one of those people who reads books predominantly by men then you need to check out Alexander Chee Twitter feed. He said every like on his tweet will guarantee a book by a woman and that THREAD IS TILL GOING STRONG. There are about 500 books now so you will never have an excuse for not picking up a book by a woman.
