The results of the 2016 DWL Short Story Contest were announced on October 10.

New Zealand-based Indian writer Rijula Das, Pakistani writer Anam Sufi and US writer John Maki won the three overall $100 prizes for the contest. Find out more about the authors and their winning entries on our 2016 contest page.

Rijula Das was also awarded the PKR 50,000 annual Dastaan Award for her outstanding story.
